About the WISER Method
The WISER Method is held by a public charity, published under an open license, and available free from this site.
Who stewards it
EffectiveSC, a Colorado 501(c)(3) public charity, holds the WISER Method’s intellectual property and trademark and publishes the method under CC BY-SA 4.0. EffectiveSC builds open technology and helps organizations put AI to work on public problems. It also holds AI First Principles, the framework the method is built on.
Why it stays free
Held in a public charity, the method has no product to bend toward. And the license keeps every published version free for anyone to use, adapt, and teach.
The license is CC BY-SA 4.0. Use the method and its printable templates for any purpose, commercial work included, adapt them, and share what you change under the same license, with attribution. The open source page has the attribution line and the repository.
This site sells no licenses, training, or certification. The one thing for sale here is the book.
Where it comes from
WISER is built on two ideas. AI First Principles, an open framework of twelve constraints on how AI systems behave inside real organizations, and organizational AGI, the idea at the center of Age of Invisible Machines. The method’s Foundations cite both.
